I was travelling on the motorway a few weeks ago when I got held up by a convoy of boat trailers.  The lorries towing these boats and trailers were immense and had to travel at a very slow speed with a police escort.  The boats were very large and looked a bit tatty and scruffy, which is perhaps why they were going by road rather than sailing to wherever they were going.  Once I got past the convoy, it was plain sailing as the traffic loosened off and began to flow again.  The rest of the journey was pretty uneventful.
