When linkedin first began, I signed up for an account because I figured at the time, it couldn’t hurt and I met some great professionals. Suddenly, I found I was getting business contacts via my page and these contacts actually sent my business soring to the next level. I highly recommend the site even if you are not looking to grow your business, many people have made very important business connections through the site, and other have actually landed jobs. It is amazing what one site can accomplish.
