I’m thinking of setting up a catering company when I leave college this year. I absolutely love cooking and if I can combine that with my business degree then I think that’s something I’ll really enjoy. Last Christmas I did the catering for a few friends Christmas do’s and made quite a bit of cash, so I think this is definitely something I can expand on. I’ve already spoken to my tutor, who’s given me good advice on how to finance it all. He also suggested that I go to a local business networking event next week. He said there are loads of caterers in essex who’ll all be there to give advice and make contacts. Sounds like a good idea to me.
