Executive Coaching Could Save My Friends Job

October 30th, 2009 by admin

My coworker, who was on the verge of quitting his job was approached by his boss one day.  The boss wanted to know what he could do to help him, and my coworker expressed his distaste in a particular project he was working on.  The boss, thinking that the unhappy worker may benefit from Executive Coaching, talked with a coach about the possibility of helping this guy understand the importance of what he needed to do.  The coach asked him if he thought that the unhappy worker would be open to feedback on his work.  If he could explain the importance of the project in the only way an executive coach could do, my friend may not quit.
