There is a surprising number of newly built houses on the taupo real estate market at the moment which I’m somewhat surprised about as I didn’t think many developers would be that active at the moment. The market as a whole has been pretty slow recently but I guess someone thought if they could put some brand new places up for sale they might get some bites. The only problem with this plan is that they probably won’t get the price they are wanting due to the overall drop in prices across the board. I guess they will find out soon enough that they may have chosen a bad time.
