Thoughts On “Rose McDermott: Polygamy—More Common Than You Think”

Your imagination is limited, and you should see it in what you wrote. You wrote of how a woman sharing a boyfriend is perceived, and went on from there. But consider a woman who shares a love advice, in commitment to truth, with a man who, for his part, also shares love with another woman committed to truth. While not easy, it requires the highest levels of honesty, integrity, and self-esteem. Indeed, it’s working out wonderfully, both ladies being highly intelligent and well-educated, and drawn by the fact there are absolutely no lies between us. I know very well that ours is not the only such case, and it helps me see that the perspective you use as an example is that of people who are not fully developed spiritually and emotionally. (It must be mentioned they may have another love as well. This is not promiscuity. It’s love, which does have its practical and emotional limits.)
