There is a big shift in how the insurance market is gaining business.  It used to be that you choose the insurance agency that your parents had, or that you learned from another person.  While some of those methods are still being used.  The primary way that car insurance companies are gaining business is through discount sites that offer an instant quote from multiple companies.  It is a very competitive market that many businesses are finding their way through.  I am sure that the old school market still exists at some level.  But if they do not find their way into this market they will perish. 

It is so interesting to work at a bank.  I get to see so many different kinds of people every single day! I also get to find out about regulations regarding home loans, Auto Loans, student loans, and any other loans that people ask to receive. I have only been working here for a year now, and I have learned so much. I now know what to do if I ever need a loan for anything.  One of the easiest loans to be approved for is a student loan.  If I ever decide to go back to school, I can feel comfortable with my knowledge of loans.

My uncle has always had trouble with is back. He recently had surgery and is doing a lot better. Now he is able to work without being in constant pain. Until recently, he did not have a car to get to work though. His friend helped him out as much as he could, but it was getting to be too hard on him. Finally, my uncle took my advice and applied for a Bad Credit Car Loan. He was approved and now he has his own vehicle to get to work. It is great to see him feeling well again and getting back on his feet.

They say that when it rains it pours, and that certainly seems to be the case with me. The other day, I had a bad day at work. My boss ended up mad at me, and on the way home my car broke down. I took my husband’s car back into town to do some grocery shopping, and it broke down as well. I had to borrow a car from a friend in order to get to work today, and as luck would have it the transmission went out while I was driving it! You know, even though I hate junk mail, it isn’t always a bad thing. Let me tell you why I say this. When my wife and I needed to buy a new car, we checked out all of the local dealerships, but couldn’t find anything in our price range. So we didn’t buy anything, and weren’t sure what we were going to do. Then, we got an automotive direct mail flier from a dealership across the state. The prices seemed to be right, so we took a gamble and went to the event. We ended up finding just what we needed, at a price we could afford.

Keep in mind that I don’t make my living in sales. In fact, I’m just the opposite. I’m a corporate retail buyer. So I’ve been well accustomed to the various tactics of sales people; which are in general very integral and honest. Now I am driving the car that this site helped point me in the direction to.

It seems as if I am not doing a great job as a car sales person. Part of that may be that I am not very experienced yet. But it’s hard to gain experience when customers are so few and far between. My boss suggested that I might want to try some Automotive Finance Trigger Leads. These involve making cold calls to people who have had their credit checked because they are interested in purchasing a vehicle. It’s perfectly legal, but you get mixed results, I’m told. The boss says that I need to write a really good script to say, and above all be polite and considerate. Maybe I’ll catch a customer or two this way. It’s worth a try.
