Working hard

January 4th, 2010 by admin

We do a lot of car hauling back  and forth for several companies.  It works out well because we also work festivals selling crafts.  We looked into Enclosed Car Haulers several years ago and got an RV that had one and then found we didn’t use it.  So we started asking around and now we haul cars across the country. It’s a great way to make some extra money. It has really helped us out in our retirement. We usually don’t haul each car a long distance and we take probably four cars a month. It really helps on the bills.

Snowboarding: A Reason to Look Forward to Winter

December 26th, 2009 by admin

I was sure I would hate moving to a northern climate.  All of my life I have lived where it is warm and the beach is not too far away.  I love being outdoors and all I could think of was spending long months indoors.  It did not work out quite that way.  As soon as I moved into my new neighborhood I met a group of energetic people my own ages and all of them love snowboarding.  Within a week I owned my own snowboard and burton bindings.  By the end of that first winter I had become a winter sports fan.  It is now fall and I cannot wait for the first snowflake.

Having a Exercise Partner Helps

December 17th, 2009 by admin

When my husband wanted to start working out, he got his brother to go with him.  They were partners in this together which helps a lot.  They were both wanting to know how to get a six pack fast and being a little older, it was going to take a little bit longer but it will still happen fairly quickly with patience.  They key is the routine and going to work out at regular intervals.  I think he and his brother have decided on three times a week to start.  That seems like a reasonable goal for them both.  I think they will both get the goals they want.

the different types of Pelican Kayaks

December 16th, 2009 by admin

Do you want to lie back and float down a lazy river? Would you rather shoot the rapids? Either way, nothing is better than a kayak. The trouble is that brand-new kayaks can be very expensive. If you’re trying to buy a kayak but are discouraged by the high prices, why not opt to buy a used one instead? IN many instances, a used kayak is just as good as, if not a little better than, a new one, especially if you don’t need to race or perform fancy tricks. But if you want to buy a used kayak, you must remember to thoroughly inspect it and be sure it’s in good condition. If you haven’t actually found one to inspect up close, you might want to set your budget and conduct online research. Next, decide on what sort of kayak you want. There are three main varieties – rigid, inflatable and folding kayaks. Inflatable and folding kayaks are very easy to store and transport, but rigid ones are the most durable. They come in a variety of different models like fiberglass, plastic, wood or Kevlar. Plastic models are tough and long-lasting, while fiberglass ones are lightweight but more expensive. Wooden kayaks come in a kit that you have to assemble yourself, but they are probably the most beautiful of all the different types of Pelican Kayaks.

So today I’m looking for a school that offers scuba diving class. Now while doing my research I find there are many place to get lessons. But, you only have 2 that are considered to be the largest association which are PADI and NAUI there schools are located all over the globe.

Muscle Building that is No Nonsense

December 14th, 2009 by admin

If you want to learn to build some muscle mass, then here is a no nonsense muscle building guide for you to read. The first step is to get yourself a membership at a gym, preferably Gold’s Gym to begin the process. You then need to pay a fitness instructor to put you on a proper exercise regime that includes as many free weights as you can possibly handle. Once you have that process in mind the next step is the nutritional aspect. To build muscle mass, one must consume a lot of protein throughout the day to build the blocks that will allow for proper strength gains and muscle mass to grow. Another great stepping stone is to use creatine.

Changes at the Gym

December 13th, 2009 by admin

I go to the best fitness center around. The trainers are a great mix of compassion and forcefulness. They push me further than I would go on my own. I also love the various exercise classes you can take at this center. There seems to be something for every personal preference. But the thing I value most is the focus on the new fitness science that is challenging the old ways of doing exercise. I think my trainers are very “up” on new trends and techniques. That gives me confidence that my work-outs are as efficient as possible. I like the changes that I see happening to my once sloppy-looking body too.

Using a Rowing Machine Would Do Wonders

December 11th, 2009 by admin

Using a rowing machine could do wonders for your mind and body. The action involved in rowing is unidirectional; you are pushing and pulling which works on all your leg muscles, shoulders and back. You would be able to quickly achieve a better body, especially to compliment any weight training you may be doing, by reducing your body fat through eating well and working on a rowing machine for the cardio side of your workouts. Rowing is also a form of low impact exercise which simply means that it does not put the same strain on your joints unlike when you are running on a treadmill. It’s actually safe and is less likely to cause you injury over time.
