So your doctor said you have high blood pressure and now you are wondering, what causes high blood pressure, right? Many factors and cause high blood pressure. First thing to consider is diet and exercise. If you eat a high fat diet chances are you have high blood pressure. Cutting back on fat and eating more healthy choices like veggies and lean meats will help lower your blood pressure. Next look at your exercise routine. Do you exercise? Even just a quick 30 minute walk every day will greatly improve your blood pressure. It is important to keep your blood pressure in normal range.
