CNA Training: Learn Basic Nursing Skills

August 30th, 2010 by admin

CNA Training is very important for anyone looking to become a certified nursing assistant. The role of a certified nursing assistant can be highly varied, as it calls on many aspects. Most likely the tasks of a CNA would resemble the following; helping patients to move, answering their calls, preparing patients for treatment or surgery, moving patients, and a lot of cleaning. On the whole though, the duties of a CNA will usually be within the categories of giving bedside care, and secondly, to carry out basic nurses tasks. By the way, this by no way means that a CNA is not a very important member of any nursing or care team. When a CNA is working, they must be under the supervision of a RN or registered nurse. This is obviously important for legality, and liability purposes for the hospital.
