I watched a movie yesterday about a couple who were on holiday in Ireland. They were surprised and somewhat disappointed to discover that the place that they were staying in had no electric blankets. I laughed to myself, knowing full well what the couple was going through. Once you’ve used one of these electric blankets and discovered the warmth and comfort that they can provide it is quite a challenge if you need to spend the night where there are not electric blankets. And that is why whenever my family go anywhere for a vacation, I make sure that I pack all the electric blankets that we may need. Sleeping without them feels uncomfortable and incomplete.
