As a 6th grader, I had to write a boring report about real estate. Our teacher thought that doing research on it and interviewing real estate agents would help us navigate the real estate market when we were older, helping us in purchasing our first new homes. Of course, she was only half right. I did my report on Valencia California real estate and got an A. I had interviewed two real estate agents and had even gone to visit Valencia with my parents to check it out. I wrote well and did my homework. However, now that I am older, there is a housing crisis. The economy is trash and I couldn’t afford a house if I tried. So, I’m sorry Mrs. Michaelsen. I guess it didn’t work out like you planned.
