I never thought that I would ever begin to understand what goes into a credit score.  However, after I completely wrecked mine, I found that I was in pretty bad shape and would not get out unless I did some learning.  I was so surprised to find out that it was much easier than I expected.  I would say that within a weeks time I was starting to understand what it meant to act responsibly in my finances.  I started in on a do it yourself credit repair program that was amazing.  To this day it is the thing that saved my marriage.
