I have always thought of age as a state of mind.   Choosing who I dated was never based upon their age or mine it was just who I was attracted to.  I guess I am somewhat put off by the term cougars now that I find out that I am being called one.  It would make more sense for people to put the age label on the back burner and instead look for people that they have things in common with.  If you do decide to approach me show me that you are a gentleman with a sense of humor and not someone in search of an older woman.
