Ridding Greenhouses of Mold

February 8th, 2010 by admin

Greenhouses are another place where mold tends to grow. Since there are constant temperature changes and very little air movement, it can cause mold to grow and spread through the vents.  Though there are many ways to try to prevent mold from growing, once it starts to grow it is hard to get rid of.  One of the ways to help in the prevention of mold growth is to use a product that is produced by Enviroselect for getting rid of mold.  SanlDate 12.0 Microbiocide is an alterative to chlorine based products.  It is environmentally and plant safe and can be used in water systems.  It can also be used in greenhouses to help control fungi and bacterial growth.
