There will probably be as many different opinions on this topic as there are readers.  But it’s a far more settled issue than “global warming” that the king of all mens necties is the folded variety.  Of all folded ties, the classic, most popular variety are the 7 fold ties, so highly spoken of in luxury menswear magazines.  This style of tie was made popular again by Robert Talbott early last century.  But Carlo Franco came along 6 or 8 years ago, and seems to revive the lost art.  Now it seems every one wants to make a similar offering to the market, because they are the most elegant, exclusive and best-knotting ties available.
