City Girl

August 6th, 2010 by admin

I have spent most of my life living in the city. I grew up in the big apple and later moved to L.A. to pursue my career as a screenwriter. I loved the constant hum and buzz of city life. There is literally never a quiet moment in any big city. Last week I flew to Virginia to visit an old friend from college. She lived so far out in the country the closest airport was 2 hours away. I was worried about how I would manage to entertain myself for 4 days on her horse ranch. Much to my own amazement, I fell in love with the country the minute we started up her tree lined driveway. I felt so peaceful and the air was so clean. I asked if she knew of anyone who had any land for sale. She smiled and motioned for me to get in the car. About a mile from her house I saw it, the sign that changed my life. It simply said Land for sale. Now it says sold!
