Fuerteventura is the 2nd largest of the Canary Islands and seems almost relatively untouched. Traveling inland you will find some wonderful, traditional restaurants serving some of the best Canarian food on the island. 

The beaches around the island are well known, and Fuerteventura features some of the longest beaches in the Canaries.

You can find numerous museums to visit in addition to a beautifully well maintained Zoo and Cactus Garden. 

A Water Park is located in the North in Corralejo as well as a theme park and countless things to do for the kids.

Overall, Fuerteventura has a little something to suit both families with children or couples of any age and nationality.
