Whenever I encounter the work funky, for some strange reasons, it always remind me of the eighties. It must be the word punk that was popular on that decade. The artists who became popular were Madonna and Cyndi Lauper. Chains and metals were very popular accessories and people were just carefree and experimental. I have encountered the same word when I heard my friend of her dream wedding. She wanted to really have funky Beach Wedding Dresses. That amazed me since it is a wedding on the beach and it must have the punk attitude. I really have no idea if it will be an elegant wedding or not.
