Were you one of the many lucky people who woke up on Christmas morning to find that you had an Amazon kindle ebook reader tucked away amongst your presents? If so then, although you should count yourself lucky of course, you may not be in a very exclusive club. According to Amazon, this Christmas saw the Kindle become Amazon’s most “gifted” item ever, which is a good end to what has been a very successful year for the Kindle. It was already Amazon’s top selling product and launched on the international market in October of 2009. It’ll be interesting to see what Amazon has up its sleeve for 2010.
