We have been seeing our Windows 7 freeze at work lately. This seems to occur only in our office, so our thought was that the issue was specific to our office setup. The problem is temporary, but it can be frustrating when working on a project. Although our IT department has been called numerous times, they feel that it is not a major problem. I believe one of the IT members mentioned that when the registry is cleaned, the freezing would resolve. Since I am unfamiliar with the processing of cleaning the registry, I looked it up online, because if this ever happens on my home computer, I would like to be familiar with how to resolve it.
