Enjoying the Medellin Weather – Medellin Guides

March 25th, 2010 by admin

With an average temperature of 24° C, Medellin has also been called “The City of the Eternal Spring”. Throughout the year there are two rainy seasons: the first one, from March to May, and the second one from September to November. Though one Medellin guide told me that now a day that is not that constant, they don’t know the exact rainy seasons and the sunny seasons. The rest of the year the weather is drier, although there is the possibility of occasional rains. Weather phenomena like El Niño and La Niña, which take place in the Pacific Ocean, may, at times alter these conditions.
