Last spring when I was in a travel agency to book my vacation, the agent and I started talking about all the things that can go wrong with a trip. He told me stories that he had heard from his clients over the years, and asked me if I had ever considered buying travel insurance. I didn’t know what that was, so I went home and looked it up online. I hadn’t realized that I might need medical care while on my trip, so I bought a policy for a very reasonable price. My trip went smoothly, but I was very reassured that I would have been covered.
